Description (Rock examples cut and shaped by the waters, Volcano, adventive crater in the interior of Vesuvius, barren island in the Bay of Bengal.) Made by an anonymous engraver after Pierre Auguste Joseph Drapiez (1778-1856). Engraving with original hand colouring, heightened with arabic gum on wove (vellin) paper. Sheet size: 17 x 26.5 cm (6.69 x 10.43 inch). Condition: good, given age. . General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
