MC Squared PHOTON Roller Bearing Oil Concept and Philosophy: The oil is named after the “photon,” a particle of light visible to the eye, which reaches us in waves from the sun and symbolizes the source of life and the power that envelops everything. Inspired by this powerful image, PHOTON oil was developed as a high-viscosity oil designed to provide stability and power, just like the light that fills space with its presence. When you need power and stability, PHOTON is the “muscle” of the group. This oil is designed to protect your bearings in extreme conditions. If you’re working with big baits, fighting strong pelagic fish, or need a roller that can withstand the load of a powerful reel – this is the oil for you. Technological Advantages: Stability Under Load: A high-viscosity formula that provides a thick lubricating layer (“Cushion effect”), creating a “solid”, quiet, and smooth rolling sensation, and dampening vibrations when fighting a fish. Chemical Resistance: A special synthetic oil that does not oxidize on contact with air, does not change its color, and retains its properties even in prolonged storage. Japanese Quality: Manufactured by ZERO Osaka, a company with 100 years of knowledge in the precision industry. Material Compatibility: Developed for optimal adhesion to advanced ball bearings (ceramic and stainless steel). Intended Use and Applications (Big Game): The oil is overwhelmingly intended for Big Game (fishing for large fish and using heavy equipment): Freshwater (Bass): Use with giant lures (Big Baits / Magnum Baits). Suitable for rollers that need to cope with high drag in the water (High Resistance). Saltwater: From Seabass to large migratory fish (pelagic). Ideal for bearings in rollers for heavy Shore Jigging or boat fishing, where the physical pressure on the bearing is maximal. Instructions for Use and Maintenance Guide Please Note: PHOTON oil is a technical product with high viscosity. To ensure optimal performance and prevent damage to equipment, follow the manufacturer’s instructions: Pre-Cleaning (Mandatory for Performance): Use a dedicated cleaning spray (Parts Cleaner) to wash the bearing from dirt and old grease. Drying the bearing is critical before adding the new oil. Oil Application: Drip a measured amount (one drop is usually enough) directly onto the bearing balls. Finishing: Rotate the bearing manually for even distribution of the oil and wipe off any excess with a paper towel to prevent dust accumulation. Technical Specifications: Manufacturer: ZERO Osaka, Japan. Type: High-viscosity synthetic oil.
