The large heart photo engraved pendant is a popular style. The bevelled edging creates a surround to the engraved photo giving the human eye a frame in which to focus on the subject matter. These pendants are thicker and more substantial with the extra depth. The shape and size will suit a really detailed reproduction of one or two faces or a group photo if the faces are close together. You can have an engraved dedication on the back 105 characters long in Arial or Times Roman, but only 60 characters in Byron, as it is a swirling font. Engraved photo pendants are created by an etching technique using a diamond tipped punch which relies on contrast between light and dark areas of a photo.
